In a private session, it is specifically designed with your needs in mind.   Including a complete assessment, it is beneficial if you are an athlete, or if you have never exercised before.  If you have specific injuries or challenges, more time will be spent on those areas.  The tempo, intensity, tools, and variation of exercises and/ or poses will be solely based on what is right for you.  You will gain confidence, specific movements to work on during the week, and personalized feedback for optimal improvement.

Description

Using any combination of free weights, bands, and body resistance training, including yoga specific postures and movements, the program is designed specifically for you.

First Session: Individual Assessment
To determine strength, agility, flexibility, and balance, specific drills will establish benchmarks.

Customized plans based on goals and assessment include:

  • warmup
  • movements to target certain muscles and motor skills
  • and cooldown

STUDENTS BOOK PRIVATE LESSONS FOR A VARIETY OF INTENTIONS, SUCH AS:

  • Grasping the basics of functional movement and muscle groups  (4+ sessions recommended)
  • Developing confidence to practice in group settings
  • Tailoring a practice to benefit a sport or profession outside of the private setting, such as improving a golf swing or complementing triathlon training
  • Learning to modify a practice while healing from an injury
  • Cultivating a therapeutic practice to manage or improve health issues like insomnia or low back pain
  • Receiving one-on-one attention in a private space
