SHINE Yoga

SHINE Yoga is a Hatha style of yoga (We’re mostly using a combination of Iyengar & Vinyasa techniques), that focuses on breathing & alignment while performing a variety of poses and flowing through yoga sequences for strength, flexibility, balance, energy, and tranquility.  45 minutes.
Tuesday and Thursday 7:45 AM – 8:30 AM
Saturday 9:00 AM – 9:45 AM

Needed:

  • Mat or non-skid surface
  • Comfortable clothing
  • Yoga blocks (optional)
  • Yoga strap (can be 2 neckties, resistance band, or beach towel)
  • The mindset to get stronger, increase flexibility, and achieve greater balance

SilverSneakers Classic – (First Light Strength and Range of Motion)

Focuses on strengthening muscles and increasing range of movement for daily life activities. We will use light hand-held weights (grab two water bottles, cans, rice, or beans, if you don’t have hand-held weights). We will also use a chair.  45 minutes.
Monday and Wednesday 7:45 AM – 8:30 AM
Tuesday and Thursday 10:00 AM – 10:45 AM
Needed:
  • Comfortable clothing & shoes
  • Hand weights (2 water bottles will do)
  • Sturdy chair
  • A mindset of Fitness and Fun
  • Resistance Band (optional)
  • Weightless ball (optional)

SilverSneakers Circuit – (First Light Cardio and Strength)

This standing class alternates upper-body strength work with low-impact cardio to maximize fitness benefits. A chair and handheld weights or tubing are recommended. 45 minutes
Friday 7:45 AM – 8:30 AM

Needed:
  • Comfortable clothing & shoes
  • Hand weights (2 water bottles will do)
  • Sturdy chair
  • A mindset of Fitness and Fun
  • Resistance Band (optional)
  • Weightless ball (optional)
