Description

Meditation is the art of practicing mindfulness.  It is thinking about what you are thinking about.  You become better at quieting the mind and becoming more aware from inside yourself.  Removing external factors, slowing down the breath, and using various additional techniques, depending on the goal of the session, help to center you and release stress.  The techniques I use are usually from an upright sitting position.   The sessions lead to a greater sense of calm, healing, and purpose.  Meditation can transform your day-to-day life into a better, more meaningful and more fulfilling existence.

Reading about meditation is not sufficient, it must be practiced like any other skill.  Because of its many benefits, there is increasing interest.  There is also a lot of miseducation, fear, and lack of understanding because the practice is so diverse and has been related to things which are not of God.  My practice is designed to enhance your spirituality, not take away.  It does not contradict biblical teaching in any way.  Many studies have shown regular meditation can help alleviate symptoms of stress and aid physical health.
