A common reason people usually give for not stretching is the lack of time.  Many spend long hours sitting at a desk and working on computers.  When they do work out, they prefer to do more cardio and burn calories.  Unfortunately, this can be a recipe for disaster.  Stretches can improve posture, flexibility, imbalances, and overall fitness.  My clients and students have learned that they can take small bouts of time and stretch throughout the day.
