Also known as cobbler pose (and growing up in gym class we called it a butterfly), Bound  Angle Pose stretches inner thighs, groin, hips, and knees. It stimulates abdominal organs and can be a calming pose.

  1. Sit tall on sit-bones
  2. Rest shoulders down back
  3. Lengthen spine by sitting tall.
  4. Let knees go toward floor. Prop with blankets, blocks, books, or pillows if this feels uncomfortable.
  5. Keep soles of feet together.
  6. Breathe deeply and slowly.  Inhaling slowly and exhaling slowly to calm your mind.
