Also known as cobbler pose (and growing up in gym class we called it a butterfly), Bound Angle Pose stretches inner thighs, groin, hips, and knees. It stimulates abdominal organs and can be a calming pose.
- Sit tall on sit-bones
- Rest shoulders down back
- Lengthen spine by sitting tall.
- Let knees go toward floor. Prop with blankets, blocks, books, or pillows if this feels uncomfortable.
- Keep soles of feet together.
- Breathe deeply and slowly. Inhaling slowly and exhaling slowly to calm your mind.
